Reticulation
~ Master Series Workshop ~
Harold O'Connor

The West Coast Chapter of the Florida Society of Goldsmiths is delighted to offer one of the living legends and superstars of the Art Jewelry world, Master Instructor Harold O'Connor, for three exciting workshops!
In this Master Series workshop, you'll learn to add 'life' to metal surfaces through a heat texture process called reticulation. During this workshop, you will explore this cool technique which is more than a method to "wrinkle" metal surfaces, but a texturing technique! Harold will show you how to control and manipulate the process and also incorporate roller-printing/embossing using a rolling mill. He makes guiding metal with the flame to take form and shape look easy. But he breaks down the process in his workshop to help you get spectacular results! Throughout this class, efficient studio practices are taught and bench tips from Harold's years of experience are shared.
PLEASE NOTE: Per the instructor's request, this class is for the intermediate/advanced metalsmith only! Absolutely NO beginners.
