Climbing Rose Pendant
Anna Mazon

This 2-day metal clay workshop features really unusual, elongated bead cap construction, adorned with beautiful, fully handmade climbing flowers, interlacing coils and other small ornaments. Interesting construction techniques, making long hollow tubes without using an extruder, working with coils wet and dry (various approaches) – that is what this workshop is about.
Pieces created in this workshop using the same techniques may have many different looks – you don't have to make climbing roses (though we will be focusing on this). For those interested, Anna will show you for example how to make beautiful morning glories. You will also be making a matching, flowery bail for your pendant. As is usually the case in Anna's classes, by using the same set of techniques everyone will create something slightly different.
